Yeah, I already had that installed but reinstalled all my video encoders / decoders and it hasn't changed anything on this PC. I'll try on my laptop and see if it works there as I suspect it might be something odd on my ancient desktop PC.

Your codec must be 64-bit just like the YAPE binary otherwise it'll not show up. Also, Direct3D video mode is recommended over anything else.

Does video capture work on Yape 1.1.7 or is it something specific with my setup / codecs that is preventing me from capturing the output to an avi?
When I try and capture some video I'm using YapeWin64.exe and the Multimedia Snapshot > AVI Video... option. I select my filename and on the Video Compression option screen I have tried all the codecs and I get a mix of recorded videos showing either a white screen, vertical black lines on a white screen, noise, or a crash.
If anyone has this working can you let me know what codec you are using and I'll try that?
