Re: Process of Yape.exe still in memory after closed

@Gaia: I close the app by Menu' option and by [X] button in the Window form. The result is the same.
I suppose this is not a usual behavior, maybe caused by some recent updating of Win?
I use Yape 1.1.4 to overcome the problems I've already written you.

@gerliczer: OK I send to Gaia the Dump file. Thank you for the tip.

SVS,

You could try making a dump file from the stuck executable. Open the Task Manager, click the YAPE process with right mouse button and click Create Dump File. Then somehow you send this file to Gaia. Maybe he can get some clues what is happening.

How did you exit the app exactly?

Re: Process of Yape.exe still in memory after closed

I cannot confirm that. For me, it always exits as it is expected to do. I'm running W7 Pro 64 bit. (As an administrator, even though it is very much not recommended.) And it is true to both builds of YAPE.

Process of Yape.exe still in memory after closed

I noted that after closed Yape, by monitoring the CPU activity, the process still remains in memory using the same % of CPU it had when the application has been closed.
The task window is correctly closed and does no appear neither in the desktop or in the bottom bar.
By re-opening Yape, a new process is added to CPU activity, and again the older still remains.
Is there anything I can set to avoid this useless waste of CPU time?

P.S. - I've Win7-64
