| Trying to repair...
I'd sent the .sid file to CreamD, hoping he can get it here at the party, and sent him an SMS. They surely have a c64 linked to the megavideo, thus he should cut off the videotape audio and play music on the c64...
At the moment I've got no answer, keep the fingers crossed...

Hi Luca!
You probably will not be glad to hear this but the SID card that I have from Murphy has 6581! And of course I recorded our demo with this!

| 8580
SIDcard can support 8580 only! It's due to the lower voltage About it: please wait for the official release (we're talking about hours! ), but you can compare with every SID stuff, e.g. try LoneNews. Try to download SidPlay2 in order to compare the same music with both chips.

| Could you send the entry to me?
I will have a look, could you send it to me? I don't deal with the 8580... I know it's different in handling combined waveforms and filters but have to have a deeper look at it. Which one is more common in the SID card?

| [YAPE] Weird SID emulation
Attila, watching a preview of our 16k demo, I heard at the SID music, and it seems like 6581 filtered, instead of 8580...: some filtered voices fail or are almost silent.
What about it?
