That's a bug...

Yeah, I've messed up wholewave TAP saving in recent versions somehow. I have to fix that... Good that you've spotted it, so it can be fixed by the next release... Cheers!

Spector asked how to create tap files with Yape. So before I replyed I went through the prosses on my XP home, Yape 0.41 and it does not work

???
