| Saving
Disk emulation (e.g. saving data files from games) is not implemented in WinEMU. However, there is a workaround. In WinEMU press Shift + F8 to go to save mode, then select Save Snapshot at the top (by pressing cursor right). This will save a snapshot of the memory of the C16/Plus4, which you can load back later. Essentially, this is just as good as saving. Good luck finishing those games!

| Howto Save a Text Based Game with WineMU?
Hi, I am ecstatic that I just found two text based, Scott Adams, InfoCom games that I played as a youth (Atomic Mission, and Strange Odyssey). These are fairly long games that are progressive and require saving. My problem is that I can't get them to save, when in the game I press save and then disk, it prompts me for a filename. I type in the filename, but the save fails. I do see the tab with the 1551 pointing at my c:temp, but when in the emulation I can't seem to get anything to actually save in that directory on my hard drive.
Any guidance you can provide will be greatly appreciated, Thanks
