Re: NTSC aspect ratio in YAPE and plus4emu

plus4emu has a pixel aspect ratio setting, you can tweak that I guess. As for Yape, well... you are among the first in 10 years that actually gave any feedback on NTSC to me, so I had better things to do... the priority was about 0.0 happy

NTSC is 4:3. How it interacts with with the Plus/4 I have no idea.

NTSC aspect ratio in YAPE and plus4emu

Dear emulator authors and people in NTSC-land,

As of today the above mentioned emulators support NTSC emulation, but i'm not sure that they work correctly. If i remember correctly both in PAL and NTSC the ratio of the horizontal and vertical size of the screen is 4:3. Please NTSC guys confirm if i'm right. If i'm wrong then the following should not be minded. The emulators now are only trimming the upper and lower border. It is obvious that emulating the distorted (at least from PAL point of view) screen in non accelerated modes is probably not feasible, but in overlay or OpenGL mode it should be possible.
