Hi Gaia:
You have reported this error on a couple of occasions in the past but without a step by step reproduction it is sort of difficult to track down the issue. How you closed the emulator should have the least of an effect... Yes this did happen some times, but not so often (fortunately), sorry to bore you The sure configuration was all the times, Drive 8: CPU 1551; Drive 9: IEC.
The emu was closed by F12.
P.S. - What about the non-executing BKP file?

SVS: more specifically? Did you use IEC or CPU level drive setup? You have reported this error on a couple of occasions in the past but without a step by step reproduction it is sort of difficult to track down the issue. How you closed the emulator should have the least of an effect...

Addon: I would have the "close the emulator" on CTRL+F12 instead of simply F12, which accidentally may be pressed

| D64 and Yape
I've faced once again the problem of corrupted D64 file after closing Yape. The produced file is 29 K long, instead of the usual 171 K. I confirm Yape was closed properly by F12, PC did not crash. Since I've seen that sometimes a BKP copy of the file is produced, I'm here to ask Gaia to know why this is not done everytime, in order to be safer. The BKP copy I've found is a week old, maybe that day I've closed Yape by menu (FILE -> EXIT) instead of F12? Many thanks
