Subject: 1551 turbos... how they work?

Hi again,
I hope Lion won't ban me from the list for spamming :-)
Another question: can I get the 1551 turbos work with my emulator with just parallel port emulation? Or I will need full true drive emulation (oops...)?
Also, I am more or less aware of how the 1541 turbos (and tape turbos) work, but how about the 1551 ones? What's the difference? A whole byte appears on the port I guess but what addresses I need to catch (in case I can do it with parallel port emulation only)?
