Well, it was not really a demo, but check FliEd V1.0 info/Coroners and wonder, how was it possible to scroll the whole screen up/down while running a waveconverter timed at about $80 :-)

On C64, this used to be substituted by DMA delay techniques (you can make the VIC avoid reading some character-data, thus making late it's character counter).

Hmmm, I guess I missed something like Crown's response to the $ff1a-ff1b thread. Though I got his letter with the TED data I asked for yesterday.
Could somebody repost it?

..Actually, please send that to levente@tolna.hungary.net 'cos I'll give up all relations to the usa.net and this mailforward thing. Just becoz it turned to be unstable and also, I turned to be a bit fed up with this s***.

Since it was designed and built by Solder, I guess, all this sould be addressed to him.

:-)

Earlier, this was a common problem when converting 3+1 voices zax to Plus/4.
Since better musax, like Stormlord, Turbo Outrun, Hot Rod, Galdregon's Domain used the 4th channel for bass, not just drums, it turned to be a real problem to set the 4th chn's frequencies correctly. Since this was originally done by the CIA's timers (by affecting the sampling rate directly), one should have found some extra solutions on emulating this behavior. I haven't seen (...heard) too much converted 3+1 chn musix which were correct in this issue, thus, their bass matched the key of the other voices.

Ps. 'Check dis out' ... phew, Run DMC rulez eh? :-)
