Re: Big Mac for Windows v0.10

The method I'm about to describe should work with both VICE and YAPE. You don't need any external DLLs for this. Make sure you're using sound with the WaveMapper driver (YAPE: Settings->Sound settings->Sound driver->WaveMapper; VICE:Settings->Sound settings->WMM driver).

When done, open up your volume control application (SNDVOL32.EXE) and select 'Options'->'Properties'->'Recording'. Make sure the 'WaveOut Mix' input source is selected and press 'OK'.

Grab an audio recording tool, either Windows' built-in one (SNDREC32.EXE), or a more decent one, like Audacity for example.

Start up both any of the emulators and the audio recording tool. Press 'Record' in the audio recording tool and fire up Big Mac. You should now be able to record the sound of the application. This one you can convert further to any format (MP3 for example) with a dedicated tool (like CDex).
