I'd like to note that by the time Saboteur came to the States in 1986, the C16 version was available. When we placed the order with Tri-Mirco (the only company here really supporting the Plus/4 and C16) we could order the proper version. However since 1541 disk drives are so much more common here, we were sent disks, no tape alternative.
Tri-Micro's catalog has the same "sorry" note that Lando speaks of, as well. now I suspect they lifted the description straight off the UK version packaging.....
