Well, this is the first time I've heard about the 2002 type monitor.
Actually 2€ is a pretty good price for such a rarity!
I got my monitor as a gift in a package (Philips 8833), but it just does not work 
(Maybe I will repair it in the far future, if the error is just something trivial, till that time I use my normal TV via CVBS to Scart adapter. Not perfect, but works).
