it's actually quite useful tool and it runs on Mac 
I do all C+4 gfx on Timanthes assuming and hoping that all color clashes are handled by me correctly. With this tool I can make sure everything is OK - especially for multicolor mode.
and there's src code so anyone can use the procedures for their own tools or purposes, which I really plan to do - sometime
