BTW Amstrad CPC enthusiast began to realize a game similar to Minecraft http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/programming/minecraft-port/. IMHO it is possible to make 8-bit port of Minecraft for the reduced screen size, e.g., 100x100...
I played with Minetest (a free clone of Minecraft) - it is very amazing.
