Re: c64/vic20 to c16 Datasette adapter

I used to run Yape on a P2 333mhz (Win98) when it first came out fine. It also runs faultlessly on my crusty old Pentium4 2.4Ghz of 10 years old+++ (WinXP) which I'm using right now and now days it runs great on my Acer Note Book. Not sure what's going on your end for strange stuff like that to happen tho.

Not sure where you got hold of it but here is the official homepage for Yape.

Maybe there is some lack of resources on your PC, sound or graphics drives, even the version of Direct X?? I don't have a clue either.

Yes some of the old games can be testing. Sometimes that was the only way to make a 12k game last longer I'm sure. Xargon Wars is an evil one to begin with. If your after a neat little space shooter then try Myriad, Press Space Bar to use your Shields.

Forum King... nah just friendly, helpful where possible. Last thing I want is that title. You can have it if you post enough from now till the end of the year though!
