Is it joke? Did you take this screenshot from Vice? Yape and Plus4emu can't make it.  The real hardware just shows the blinking colors at the two middle rows.  BTW this demo requires 32 KB and doesn't work at a base C16.

I can ensure you that t233 utility (to test color pairs) shows differrent 11 and 12+ colors at the real hardware. Sorry I don't have hardware to make photo from tv screen.
