the resolution did not look so bad on that video. I suppose they used the 280x192 6color mode. Unfortunately plussy does not have the possibility to upgrade with a card to 80column display, with double horizontal resolution.
I am happy to hear that 1551 won 
Maybe i am wrong, but as i remember, 1551 does not use paralel 8 bits for data transfer, so the 4x speed difference technically not there.
