As far as I see, at the current state it is more a file-manager testing the windowing possibililites of the system.

Interestingly, there is a video on Page86 about Apple IIe with 128KB (with 65C02 run on 1.023MHz) that run the Apple DesktopII 1.1 with a rather blazing speed. (OK, i know that ApppleII peripherials were much faster than Commodore had. Only RAM and 1551 speed is our limit to reach that level with GEOS?)
