BTW, the tunel code can be improved a bit further using SAX. (http://unusedino.de/ec64/technical/aay/c64/bsax.htm). This saves A&X into memory, so for instance "ldx #$1F; lda #$F2; sax $1000" will save $12 into $1000. This way you can completely save the "and #$0F"/"and #$F0" bits.
