i've just continue my thinking.. so you asked what might be helpful for us..
for myself a batch converting option will be for converting animations.. (but when we developed adventures in mono, i made a perl script for the dfliconv since the numerous frames we used in mode 4x4). but i doesn't know worth to develop it, because i used occassionally.
