I've found another source dealing with measurements when significant out-band noise is present (which is the case with delta-sigma converters). Maybe, it's just not that easy to filter those high-frequency noise remainders out (tradeoff between effective bandwidth, high-frequency noise and filter complexity is needed).

Jitter is an issue, yes... but that applies to both types of dac's, there's no real difference (maybe in the overall sensitivity, there is, but whatever...)
