On a related note... Christian, do you happen to know how did those external 64K dram expansions for the C16/C116 really work?...

This is a longtime hmmm... "mystery" for me. As far as I know, there's no real ram "paging" in the computer. When ram is addressed, the ras/mux/cas lines would be asserted, effectively selecting the dram chips _of the motherboard_. Even if something else -- say, dram chips on an external card -- are also selected, these (the internal and the external chips) would "talk" at the same time. Then, how could still those external memory expansions work? I must be missing something... :-/
